South Florida-based Axxiom Elevator has completed its acquisition of Evolution Elevator & Escalator Corp., headquartered in Staten Island, NY, with offices in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Maven Group announced on April 15. Evolution, a trusted provider of elevator and escalator services in Southeast Florida, will continue operations in New York and New Jersey. Axxiom CEO Jeremy Metzger praised Evolution’s service portfolio and commitment to employees and customers, calling them “a terrific addition to our growing team.” This marks Axxiom’s third acquisition in two years. Evolution founder Lou James, along with a skilled team of mechanics, will continue serving key landmark accounts. James expressed enthusiasm for future growth supported by Axxiom’s advanced systems and procedures. The deal was backed by Gauge Capital, with Massumi + Consoli LLP providing legal counsel for Axxiom and Gauge Capital.
